Today, it is not uncommon to see children suffering from depression or other mental disorders. Many doctors today will prescribe medication, such as Paxil to help improve the child?s mental health disorder or condition. Paxil side effects can vary depending on the child, but nevertheless, the Paxil side effects are enough to cause harm or death to children who take Paxil for any number or mental related reasons. It is because of these Paxil side effects in children that the FDA has not approved the use of Paxil medication by patients younger than eighteen years of age.

There are also several lesser Paxil side effects that are increased in children such as tremors, insomnia, nausea, sweating, dizziness, dry mouth, and asthenia. Therefore, if your child is taking Paxil and you notice any of these symptoms, you should contact a medical expert immediately and you should contact a legal professional who specializes in Paxil lawsuits and claims. However, if your child has been hurt by the Paxil side effects or by taking Paxil, then you should consult an attorney right away.
